Reviews and Ratings
The Quintessa Hotel in Sasebo is a wonderful find with spacious rooms and great amenities. It's located conveniently close to downtown attractions, and I loved having vending machines right on the second floor. However, the lack of an ATM on-site was a bit inconvenient, but overall, I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it for anyone visiting Sasebo.
I had a pleasant stay at the Chisun Grand Sasebo, which is conveniently located with easy access to shopping and dining options. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, offering good value for the price. While I enjoyed my experience overall, the dining could use a few more diverse options to cater to different tastes. Also, be mindful of possible noise from nearby nightlife on weekends, which might disturb light sleepers.
The hotel offers a great stay with clean accommodations, a friendly staff, and a prime location near shopping and the Navy base. The unique features like the bidet and heated toilet seat in the bathroom added a nice touch. However, the thin walls may be a concern for light sleepers, and the breakfast price is a bit steep.
I had a lovely experience at this hotel, especially for the value. My room was spacious and clean, and the staff went out of their way to help me, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was decent and affordable too. However, it was a little cramped for long-term stays, especially in terms of storage space for clothes, and I wish there were better working facilities available.
This hotel is great for short stays, especially if you're looking to enjoy the local area close to Sailor Town and the Ginza. The staff is wonderful, providing attentive service, but I found the amenities lacking for a longer visit. The rooms are a bit cramped for extended stays, and there are limited options for laundry. Overall, it's good value for a weekend trip, but not ideal for long-term accommodations.
